Another good Sunday hangout
Dec. 4th, 2005 08:38 pmToday, I was able to hang out with my good friend Leslie... we went for Greek food at Panos Greek Taverna. I had Cajun sirloin, she had roast lamb, and we shared some calamari. We talked about a lot of things: Citrus being a nice guy, Danielle liking that, their being a good couple, this Saturday's concert and tickets, Jon getting back soon, talking to her sister online and her weird MSN names, my relationship with Fay, cholesterol, Greek / Italian food, not wanting your own ethnic food (reminds her of when her friend Sean called their friend Denise "spoiled" when she didn't want to go to Oscar's after church for Chinese food), and Christmas plans. I wondered if she'd like to go bowling, and mentioned getting tickets to a Canucks game through work, since they supply food to GM Place. Then I mentioned other ideas for hanging out, such as going to one of the revolving restaurants in town: when she tried paying me back for the Greek food tonight, I said it was a "listening fee" and not to worry about it. Fine with her!
It was good... heading home, we heard the Canucks were leading the Bruins 2-0. After she made me watch some weird movie (Rejected), we turned on the radio and found out that Boston scored two goals to tie the game at 2. *goes into Ace Ventura mode* HOW DISAPPOINTING! AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT! *end Ace Ventura mode*
Before I leave, I hope the Canucks can win the game... man, it sounds like I'm dying here. hahaha
Hope I can hang out with Leslie and her brother Jon during this upcoming Christmas break, and blog more next time. Ta-ta!
Edit: The Canucks scored two quick goals... hell, yes! Nathan thought of me when he got a ticket for Saturday's Christmas concert in Richmond... I love this guy, man! (but not in that way... we're not perverts! :P)
I was cranky, but now I'm hyper... WOOYEAH! :D :D :D
